Every few weeks, an accomplished pianist-educator joins IPP to coach our students and share their artistry. A few of our recent guests:

Ethan Y. passed the RCM Piano ARCT Diploma Examination.

Valerie H. passed the ABRSM Grade 5 Piano Examination with Merit.

Medya R. earned Silver with a score of 81/100 in Level 10 Classical Repertoire at the Pacific International Youth Music Festival.

Ethan Y. earned two awards at the Pacific International Youth Music Festival:
Gold — 90/100, Contemporary Era, ARCT Level
Silver — 83.5/100, Age 19 & Under

Sophia N. earned Silver with a score of 84/100 in the Age 19 & Under category at the Pacific International Youth Music Festival.

Olivia and Valerie H. presented two breast-cancer-awareness recitals and raised more than $2,000 for Susan G. Komen.

Sylvia G. presented her first solo recital in Lincoln, Nebraska, on August 9, 2025.

Caroline L. performed at the Austin Chamber Music Festival at the University of Texas at Austin after preparing two assigned works in two weeks.

Basma M. completed her Diploma of Music in Flute.

Valerie H. advanced to the second-round honors at the NVMTA Sonata/Sonatina Festival.

Kartik V. passed the Trinity College London Grade 8 Piano Examination with Merit.

Nidhi passed the ABRSM Grade 7 Piano Examination.
Between guest events, IPP students perform for one another in regular studio classes — low-pressure recitals that build stage confidence and let students learn from each other's repertoire.
